Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Operational Management: Support and administer operational goals, monitoring achievements of performance and profit objectives, and making adjustments as needed to ensure the success of the department.
- Culinary Excellence: Administer all aspects of food preparation, ensuring that the kitchen is clean, well-stocked, and problem-free, and that food quality and presentation meet the highest standards.
- Cost Control: Support the maintenance of cost control methods and procedures, monitoring consistent pars and inventory in each restaurant, and making adjustments as needed to ensure profitability.
- Customer Service: Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs, ensuring that customer service standards are followed by all team members.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility, reporting potential issues to management, and maintaining strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; minimum of two years culinary experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook), ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Physical and Mental Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and ability to stand for long periods of time.
We offer a competitive starting salary of $17.00 per hour, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) program, and paid time off.
