Executive Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Treasure Bay LLC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
- Develop and implement menu concepts, recipes, and cooking techniques to drive culinary innovation.
- Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to create and execute menu plans, specials, and promotions.
- Ensure accurate inventory management, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety.
- Train and develop kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, waste, and labor costs.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage team to drive sales growth and revenue.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, culinary techniques, and menu innovations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef de Cuisine or management.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cook III, with 3 years in a leadership role. A degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program is desirable. ServSafe certification is required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, bend, lift, stand for long periods, and read, write with good eye-hand coordination, depth perception, and effective verbal communication.
