About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Exactech Product Marketing Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving product development and launch strategies to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the life cycle of existing and new implants and instruments or biological products, as well as product-related literature.
  • Lead the management of several larger product lines, including orthopedic joint reconstruction.
  • Perform market and competitive product analysis to inform product development and launch strategies.
  • Provide field education and assist with follow-up on regulatory issues.
  • Support selling activities through field training, field visits, and case coverage.
  • Develop working relationships with leading orthopedic surgeons and staff to analyze their needs and maintain a dialog for current information.
  • Assist with the development of product design teams, including the identification of surgeons, coordination of input, and collaboration with other departments.
  • Lead the planning and forecasting of product sample inventory.
  • Serve on project teams to support new product development.
  • Develop annual marketing plans and oversee implementation and other tactical related activities.
  • Assume leadership role in developing and recommending annual pricing strategies.
  • Lead individual module development and presentation of product training programs.
  • Provide marketing expertise to multi-skill teams, including assuming leadership responsibilities as required.
  • Contribute ideas and offer solutions to critical team and departmental issues.
  • Lead the communication of product-related sales support information to the field sales force.
  • Provide technical expertise to agents, reps, and surgeons to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in marketing/product management in the orthopedic joint reconstruction field.
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based office productivity tools, including word processor and spreadsheet.
  • Ability to meet medical requirements to gain entry into individual hospitals and hospital systems as needed to observe surgical procedures.
  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the job.
