MRI Technologist Position at UofL Health

UofL Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at South Hospital. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing examinations according to established protocols set forth by the medical director. This role requires a strong understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The ideal candidate will maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and imaging technique, as well as knowledge and awareness of high magnetic field strength safety.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with hospital policy and procedure as well as state and federal regulations. Maintain knowledge of and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective patient care.
Requirements:
Registered with ARRT, KY Radiation Operator's certification, CPR-Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required. MRI Registry within two years of employment. Graduate of JRC-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
