Radiologic Technologist, South Hospital, 2nd Shift

As a Radiologic Technologist at UofL Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient operation of our diagnostic imaging department. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate technologist to join our team in South Hospital, working on the 2nd shift.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform computed tomography, MR, Mammography, and/or diagnostic scans in accordance with established practices and protocols.
• Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care and adherence to safety protocols.
• Participate in hospital and department quality assurance programs to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
• Stay current with industry developments and advancements in diagnostic imaging technology, attending educational programs and workshops as required.
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Possess and maintain certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in 2 pathways not including Radiography (R).
• State of Kentucky License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in additional pathways, although not essential for all positions.
