Job Summary

The Digital Commerce Content Specialist will play a crucial role in driving the success of Therma-Tru's digital product content strategy. This position will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy high-quality digital content that resonates with customers and drives business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive digital product content strategy that aligns with Therma-Tru's business objectives.
  • Support the creation and deployment of best-in-class digital merchandising assets, including product copy, descriptions, bullet points, images, video, and technical documentation.
  • Work closely with the product content management team to ensure accurate and timely syndication of product information to online retailers via customer content management portals and product content management systems.
  • Audit and document existing processes for developing and deploying digital product content to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop a detailed monthly digital product content production/deployment calendar to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
  • Oversee the development of digital assets to support new Therma-Tru products on targeted e-tailer sites.
  • Analyze performance and impact of digital content investments with key e-tailer accounts to determine customer impact and ROI.
  • Audit/assess each major e-tailer using a digital product content scorecard to identify areas for improvement.
  • Leverage internal and external data sources to gather relevant industry benchmarks and best practices.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of outside digital content vendors to ensure high-quality content delivery.
  • Follow internal processes while also seeking ways to increase team efficiencies and improve content quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience inclusive of a minimum of 2 years of experience working in teams supporting the execution of product content marketing programs.
  • Experience in consumer durables products is a plus.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity around product content marketing with a passion for developing best-in-class content.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, adhere to deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven team player comfortable working on multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with product content management platforms, such as Salsify, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Demonstrated high-level understanding of SEO, PPC, and Display Advertising as it relates to digital copy.
