Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign, compose, and refine commerce-related content across our brands, including news articles, deal announcements, evergreen guides, and product reviews that provide trustworthy recommendations.
  • Develop and manage the editorial calendar, collaborating with brand editors and commerce strategy managers to ensure alignment with each brand's unique voice while driving revenue.
  • Monitor daily news cycles and promotional events to identify commerce opportunities.
  • Edit engaging, clear, and accurate stories under tight deadlines.
  • Utilize analytics and research tools to assess story performance and identify new opportunities based on current trends.
  • Update and enhance existing content to ensure it remains relevant and valuable to our audience.
  • Build a network of writers capable of producing high-quality commerce articles across various topics.
  • Write and publish stories in the content management system as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a dynamic digital environment with increasing editorial responsibilities, ideally with at least 1 year in the commerce sector.
  • Demonstrated success in driving growth within various Women's Lifestyle categories, including apparel, accessories, and beauty products.
  • Strong skills in content structuring and formatting, with excellent judgment regarding audience engagement across digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with trends and new products, with the ability to cultivate relationships with brands and PR agencies.
  • Passion for the identified categories and the ability to create engaging and approachable shopping content.
  • Knowledge of digital content best practices, including SEO and data analysis.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on building strong internal relationships.
  • Ability to write and edit quickly without sacrificing accuracy or brand integrity.
  • A positive attitude and a sense of urgency.
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field is preferred.
