Position Summary

As a Sales Route Specialist, you will be instrumental in fostering and nurturing customer relationships through direct interactions. Your role involves the timely delivery of products and retrieval of empty cylinders, all while adhering to a scheduled route. This position is both physically demanding and time-sensitive, offering a rewarding experience as you build trust with our customers through outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load, deliver, and unload products and gas cylinders to customers, while retrieving empty units.
  • Maintain accurate delivery manifests and vehicle documentation.
  • Monitor customer needs to ensure optimal product levels and minimize emergency deliveries.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle environment.
  • Assist with in-store customer service and counter sales as needed.
  • Participate in warehouse operations including receiving and shipping.
  • Support inventory management and showroom displays.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement preferred.
  • Experience with compressed gases and customer service is advantageous.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and work in various outdoor conditions.
  • Must operate in a drug-free environment.
