Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at L3Harris. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for implementing and analyzing manufacturing plans and projects, designing and developing manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies, and systems, and developing manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects
  • Design, develop, and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies, and systems
  • Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes
  • Interface with engineering in coordinating the release of new products
  • Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
  • Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials science engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, AutoCAD, and/or Pro-E, Six Sigma, technical writing, MS Project, and/or MS SharePoint
