Covenant Health is seeking a skilled Patient Placement Coordinator RN to join our team. As a clinical expert, you will assess and determine the clinical placement needs of acute care patients, ensuring safe and effective care. Your expertise will be invaluable in collaborating with nursing, medical staff, and bed control/admitting departments to coordinate patient flow and bed facilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient clinical status and determine acute care services needed
- Collaborate with departments to assign bed locations and implement bed control area protocol
- Coordinate patient flow and bed facilitation with bed control/admitting office staff
- Monitor and evaluate patient flow and placement considering financial and regulatory issues
Requirements:
- Texas Registered Nurse License
- Relevant progressive clinical and administrative experience
- Cross-trained with House Supervisor
