Radiology Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Services Specialist to provide exceptional imaging services. The successful candidate will be tasked with performing diagnostic imaging examinations and radiation therapy treatments, utilizing advanced fluoroscopy techniques with the C-arm.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from an accredited radiology technologist program
  • Certification as a radiology technician (AART)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Experience in Operating Room or Pain Procedure settings
EXPERIENCE IN AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTERS:
  • A minimum of two (2) years in a healthcare environment conducting fluoroscopy procedures
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Efficiently organize time, equipment, and necessary supplies
  • Accurately operate radiology equipment
  • Provide comfort and support to patients throughout procedures
  • Ensure adherence to proper radiology techniques
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
  • Observe safety protocols in fluoroscopy areas
  • Assist in the upkeep of radiology equipment
  • Participate in mandatory training and educational sessions
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION:
  • Work effectively with healthcare team members
  • Maintain adaptability and perform additional duties as needed
  • Engage in staff meetings and ongoing education
MATHEMATICAL ABILITIES:
  • Competence in performing basic mathematical calculations
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
REASONING SKILLS:
  • Demonstrate mental alertness for effective decision-making
  • Ability to multi-task with a keen attention to detail
  • Accurately interpret instructions
  • Communicate issues effectively to supervisors
