Key Responsibilities:
As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for:
1. Capturing high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal structures.
2. Properly positioning patients to focus on specific areas for scanning.
3. Conducting routine warm-up procedures on CT scanners to extend the lifespan of X-ray tubes.
4. Ensuring the sterilization of radiologic equipment to maintain patient safety.
5. Accurately interpreting physicians' scanning directives.
6. Administering radiocontrast agents to improve the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
7. Assessing CT scans for technical quality and clarity.
8. Clearly explaining scanning processes to patients, providing them with reassurance and support as needed.
Educational Qualifications:
Applicants should possess an Associate degree in Allied Health.
Certifications Required:
- ARRT or CVT/CVIT certification
- BLS certification
- CPR certification
- Unrestricted license from ODH
Experience:
No prior job-related experience is necessary; however, one year of experience is preferred.
