Job Details

The Senior Accounting Specialist will oversee various accounting functions, reporting, and compliance tasks at the corporate level for a publicly traded manufacturing entity with substantial revenue.

Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution
- At least 3 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 experience preferred) and/or in a publicly traded organization
- CPA license or in the process of obtaining
- Proficient in multi-location, multi-currency consolidation and foreign currency translation
- SOX compliance experience, either as an auditor or a control preparer
- Skilled in preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
- Experience collaborating with controllers or accounting teams across various regions
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with large ERP systems (such as Oracle, Peoplesoft, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, etc.)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and complex formulas
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Highly motivated, accountable, and detail-oriented
