Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Director to join our team at A&A Ready Mixed Concrete. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and managing all plant operations, ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality concrete products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage plant operations to achieve production, maintenance, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective systems for controlling capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages, and salaries.
  • Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production, quality, and safety standards.
  • Provide leadership and training to accomplish company goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety requirements/standards, reporting, and managing.
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
  • Provide direction, development, and leadership to direct reports.
  • Responsible for the performance management of all plant personnel.
Requirements
  • Experience in batching ready mix and plant management.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or five years of plant/general management experience in a concrete or construction environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Effective communication skills in the English language in both written and verbal form.
  • A current, unrestricted, California Class B license with tanker and airbrake endorsements.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Employee is occasionally required to wear personal protective equipment; including safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, etc.

Compensation

$35.00 per hour
