City Connects, Center for Thriving Children is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Student Support Coaching to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of our innovative student support model in various locations.
Key Responsibilities- Professional Development and Coaching: Provide expert training and coaching to school-based coordinators and staff on the City Connects model of student support.
- Recruitment and Support: Recruit and support the hiring of school-based coordinators who will implement the City Connects model with schools and students.
- Supervision and Evaluation: Supervise and support the evaluation of coordinators at individual schools to ensure the effective implementation of the City Connects model.
- Implementation Monitoring: Monitor the fidelity of implementation of the City Connects model at each school to ensure consistency and quality.
- Community Agency Partnerships: Collaborate with principals and other school leaders to support coordinators and staff in delivering the City Connects model, and assist in developing and maintaining community agency relationships.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Support the collection of high-quality student support data and utilize data to monitor progress and inform decision-making.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate regularly with the larger City Connects organization on policy, practice, and implementation of the City Connects model.
- Master's Degree: A Master's degree in human services, education, school or mental health counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Schools: Strong knowledge of schools and the education sector.
- Program Management Experience: Proven experience in program management, including coaching and supervisory experience.
- Community Outreach Experience: Experience in community outreach and engagement.
- Cultural Competency: Strong cultural competency working with diverse urban communities.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, including the ability to work as a member of a team.
- School-Based Experience: Experience working in a school-based setting.
- Inter-Agency Partnerships: Experience managing inter-agency partnerships.
- Language Skills: Fluency in a second language.
