Job Description:

The Professional Education Coordinator will be responsible for managing all continuing education lectures and Hands-On Courses (HOC) to fulfill Kerr's North American Professional Education goals and objectives. They will work closely with subject matter experts and other dental professionals to facilitate effective and engaging educational content, including online courses, webinars, workshops, seminars, and other learning materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage deliverables for all events for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Manage event requests via Smart Sheet, Cvent registrations, contracts, and Professional Education department payments.
  • Collaborate with the Professional Education department and other cross-functional departments to set up courses and events for exceptional customer experience.
  • Provide recommendations to proactively avoid potential scheduling and resource conflicts for lecture events.
  • Ensure all continuing education activities comply with company policies and standards/guidelines set by relevant dental associations and boards.
  • Facilitate professional education contracts between the in-house legal team and third parties, including hotel/food, trade show, commercial sponsorship, educational grants, and co-sponsorship grants.
  • Create requisitions through the company's purchasing system.
  • Utilize, manage, and track company purchasing card expenditures and report expenses to the finance department monthly.
  • Assist with developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to attract participants and evaluate the effectiveness of continuing education events.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental industry trends and continuing education requirements.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and quality.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities under the Envista Business System (EBS).
  • Travel domestically up to 10% via ground or air.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required. Bachelor's degree in Education or Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience required, including event planning. Experience with Cvent is highly preferred.
  • Knowledgeable with dental terminology highly preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be able to travel to events via ground or air up to 10%.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Technical aptitude to quickly learn various computer business systems.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Professional demeanor and presentation.
  • Ability to build and maintain good rapport and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness.
  • Strong listening skills and ability to build relationships with people with diverse personalities.
  • Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work assignments and work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
