Job Title: Mental Health Technician

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain vital signs, assess behavior, and escort patients throughout the shift.
  • Conduct direct observation rounds and document patient behavior.
  • Model and teach life skills to patients.
  • Orient patients to the unit and assist with discharge processes.
  • Provide a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
Requirements:
  • High School Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • At least one year of related experience in a hospital setting with psychiatric experience strongly preferred.
  • Successful completion of BLS and Handle with Care Training within 30 days of employment.
