About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team at Millwood Hospital. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and providing continuous care, supervision, and interaction to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including supervision, interaction, and role modeling
  • Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to ensure patient safety and well-being
  • Participate in the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Assist with restraining procedures and provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and care provided
Requirements
  • High School Degree or equivalent required; Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
  • Two years of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license in the applicable state
  • Successful completion of Management Aggressive Behavior Training (CPI) and certification in CPR
