About the Role

Tencent Americas is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation and deployment of our Workday Financial platform. As a key member of our IT Enterprise Applications team, you will be responsible for empowering overseas business growth and enhancing employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the global Workday Financials implementation project, ensuring timely and successful delivery of project milestones.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, requirements, and deliverables, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Develop, control, and communicate the project plan, timeline, and milestones, utilizing Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Define and document project tasks, issues, and risks, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation of potential roadblocks.
  • Monitor project progress, tracking and reporting deliverables to the project team and stakeholders through regular status reports and meetings.
  • Develop procedures, manuals, and documentation for the systems developed, ensuring seamless transition to operations.
  • Administer the scrum board, ensuring cards are up-to-date, backlog is robust, and goals are clear.
  • Proactively eliminate blockers and manage roadblocks, collaborating with team members to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Participate in change management and go-live support processes, ensuring a smooth transition to production.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of technical project management experience, preferably in Workday Financial implementation.
  • Experience managing large-scale Workday Financial engagements or complex IT projects, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Proficient in Workday Financial modules, including Financial Management, Banking & Settlement, Projects, Expenses, Supplier Accounts, and Procurement.
  • Proficient in all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle, with a strong understanding of change management and go-live support processes.
  • PMI or Scrum Alliance certifications in Program Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master competencies are preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, process, and change management tools and techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and aspects of the project, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote teams and stakeholders.
  • Fast learner, with the ability to adapt quickly to change and work collaboratively in a fast-paced cross-functional team.
  • Experience working with Agile Project Management tools, such as Jira, and Documents Sharing tools, such as Confluence.
  • Bilingual (English, Chinese) is preferred.
