Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:
  • Direct and inspire team members to achieve objectives by clearly defining roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure team members have the necessary tools and authority to perform effectively.
  • Communicate timely updates and decisions to the team.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to facilitate professional development.
  • Set strategic direction for departmental initiatives aligned with the overall business plan.
  • Collaborate with leadership to address challenges and streamline processes.
Sales and Client Relations:
  • Oversee the marketing, credit assessment, loan documentation, pricing strategies, and client relationships for large, syndicated loans.
  • Identify key market players and develop targeted marketing strategies to seize lending opportunities.
  • Enhance the organization’s reputation and market presence through industry expertise and relationships.
  • Research market potential for syndicated loan opportunities within our service area.
  • Build partnerships within the agricultural business community for mutual benefit.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in lending, particularly in commercial lending and complex credit agreements.
  • A well-established network within key agribusiness sectors is essential.
Skills:
  • Proficient in technology and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and initiatives.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in teams and build strong relationships.
