Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Roadway Engineer to lead our transportation design projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing construction plans for roadway projects, providing guidance and supervision to junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design phase of transportation projects, developing multiple construction plans and providing guidance to junior engineers.
  • Coordinate with project managers to plan and schedule design phase tasks, ensuring timely delivery of project scope and deliverables.
  • Conduct quality control checks on design work and engineering drawings performed by others, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Analyze and address technical problems, applying innovative solutions and unique approaches as needed.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects meet ISO compliance requirements and are completed within budget and scope.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with appropriate graduate-level work preferred.
  • Minimum of 4-8 years of professional experience in transportation design and project management.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills.
  • Experience with Open Roads/InRoads software preferred.
