Clinical Educator in Pediatrics

This Pediatric Clinical Faculty position offers a unique opportunity to work with nursing students and make a lasting impact on their education and future careers. As a clinical instructor, you will be responsible for implementing the College's philosophy and curriculum through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system, and profession.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university, an unencumbered professional nursing license in Illinois, and at least two years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of pediatrics as a registered nurse. Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the College's philosophy and curriculum through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system, and profession.
- Plan clinical experiences for and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to an individual or group of individuals.
- Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students on level of performance based on course objectives.
- Contribute to the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of the programs and the College.
Compensation: The expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment.
