Job Title: Regional Family Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Paragon Infusion Centers. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Job Summary:

The Regional Family Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:

  • Providing patient care within their scope of practice in the clinical setting
  • Administering ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policy and procedures
  • Completing admission process as directed by Center Director
  • Performing physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis
  • Documenting all pertinent data in the patient's medical record
  • Reporting all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and responsible for follow-up on any problem identified
  • Communicating effectively with other members of the IV team on patient status and observations
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times by abiding by HIPAA laws and regulations
  • Evaluating the patient's response to therapy and documenting this finding in the medical record
  • Educating patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan
  • Participating in the Quality Improvement program
  • Ensuring that all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up to date prior to treatment
  • Participating in On-Call program, which may include after-hours, weekend, and holiday calls and visitations
  • Providing clinical coverage for nurse practitioners on PTO/LOA and may also support new market launches
  • May require extensive travel to worksite and other locations as necessary
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MS in Nursing and minimum of 2 years of related experience with clinical emphasis for nurse practitioner; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
  • Experience with IV's required
  • Current, active, valid, and unrestricted NP license to practice as a healthcare professional within the scope of license in applicable state required
  • Active, current, and valid Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
  • Multi-state licensure is required if this individual is providing services in multiple states
  • Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience with IV's strongly preferred

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week.
