Position Overview
As a Permanent Family Law Practitioner, you will play a vital role in our mission to deliver comprehensive legal assistance to clients facing various family law challenges.

This position is well-suited for an experienced attorney who is dedicated to advocating for the rights and best interests of clients in matters such as divorce, child custody, child support, and other related legal issues.

You will have the chance to manage complex cases, collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, and guide them through the legal process with empathy and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer expert legal counsel and representation in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, and related issues.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, and motions.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, effectively advocating on their behalf.
  • Conduct thorough case analysis and investigation to identify and address all pertinent issues.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve fair and just settlements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, keeping them updated on case developments and advising them on potential outcomes.
  • Develop and implement case strategies that align with clients' objectives and the best interests of any involved children.
  • Engage in legal research and stay informed on developments in family law to provide accurate and timely advice.
  • Manage case files and documentation effectively, ensuring all information is accurate and readily accessible.
Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Family Law Practitioner, with a proven history in handling divorce, child custody, child support, and related cases.
  • Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Proficient in drafting various legal documents including pleadings, briefs, affidavits, and motions.
  • Strong courtroom presence with extensive experience in conducting trials and hearings.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to reach beneficial settlements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
  • Strong ethical and professional standards, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Proficient in legal research and familiar with the latest developments in family law.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
