Position Overview
As a Permanent Family Law Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients dealing with various family law issues.

This position is perfect for an experienced attorney who is dedicated to advocating for the rights and best interests of clients in matters related to divorce, child custody, child support, and other associated concerns.

You will have the chance to manage intricate cases, collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their needs, and guide them through the legal landscape with empathy and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert legal counsel and representation to clients in all facets of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, and related issues.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, and motions.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and trials, effectively advocating on their behalf.
  • Conduct thorough case evaluations and investigations to identify and address all pertinent issues.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve fair and just settlements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, keeping them updated on case developments and advising them on potential outcomes.
  • Formulate and implement case strategies that align with clients' goals and the best interests of any involved children.
  • Engage in legal research and stay informed on advancements in family law to provide accurate and timely advice.
  • Manage case files and documentation efficiently, ensuring all information is precise, current, and easily accessible.
Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Family Law Practitioner, with a proven history in managing divorce, child custody, child support, and related cases.
  • Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Proficient in drafting various legal documents including pleadings, briefs, affidavits, and motions.
  • Strong courtroom presence with extensive experience in conducting trials and hearings.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to reach beneficial settlements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear, understandable manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong ethical and professional standards, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
