Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in equipment.
  • Conduct test drives and evaluate vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools.
  • Inspect essential systems such as brakes, steering, and wheel bearings to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize hydraulic jacks or hoists to elevate trucks, buses, and heavy machinery.
  • Focus on the repair and troubleshooting of major components, including engines, transmissions, and differentials, which may involve replacing entire assemblies and related parts.
  • Communicate with management to keep customers informed about necessary services and provide estimates for additional repairs.
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in equipment repair or completion of a trade school program is preferred.
  • Automotive experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Basic welding skills are a plus.
  • Strong collaborative skills are essential.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various physical tasks as required.
  • Willingness to undergo drug screening and background checks.
  • Must possess a valid and clean driver's license.
