About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect to join our team at IBI Group. As a key member of our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality design solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the project's conceptual design and technical support, ensuring that all phases of design documentation and construction are understood.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the project development process of government projects, including federal design specifications.
  • Manage and mentor staff for design quality, technical detailing, and presentations.
  • Negotiate critical and controversial issues with appropriate parties.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations.
  • Mine existing government IDIQ vehicles for future task orders.
  • Serve as a key contributor during client meetings and presentations.
  • Travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and internal strategic meetings.
  • Support proposal development process, as needed.
  • Adopt company-wide processes for customer databases, relationship management, and customer experience.
Requirements
  • Licensed Architect with 10+ years of related experience.
  • Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all clients and employees.
  • Ability to produce and direct work.
  • Strong technical background, with proficiency in Revit throughout conceptual, schematic, design, and construction phases.
  • Solid working knowledge of building codes.
  • Experience with Sustainable Design and Energy Modeling preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • LEED accreditation preferred.
  • Professional registration required.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
