Registered Nurse (RN) – Richmond Float Pool

Incentives:
Experienced RNs may qualify for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Please inquire for further details.

Supplemental Pay:
Newly increased pay rates available for both day and night shifts.

Job Summary:
If you seek flexibility in your nursing career, the Richmond Float Team offers an ideal opportunity. The Float Nurse will adhere to all Bon Secours policies and procedures while providing care across various facilities in the Richmond area.

Responsibilities:
- Float to all sites within the Richmond market, covering various inpatient units including Med Surg, Telemetry, Step Down, Critical Care, and Rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver advanced treatment and care to patients with complex health conditions.
- Regularly evaluate, update, and modify care plans to achieve desired health outcomes.
- Administer medications safely in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Unit Availability:
Opportunities include, but are not limited to:
- Med Surg - Ortho - Oncology
- Step Down/Telemetry
- Progressive Care (PCU)
- Critical Care/Intensive Care (ICU/CCU)
- Behavioral Health

Work Schedule:
- 36 hours per week with self-scheduling options.
- One summer and one winter holiday required.
- Every third weekend required.
- Full-time night shift with shift differentials available for night and weekend work.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in Nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience in at least two specialties.
