Role Overview:

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be tasked with delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental protocols and state regulations.

Working collaboratively with healthcare providers and the care team, you will ensure personalized, comprehensive, and empathetic care, adhering to established nursing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care to patients recovering from orthopedic and spinal surgeries.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions upon admission and during each shift, promptly addressing any changes in health status.
  • Perform medical procedures and monitoring as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and proactively address their needs to enhance their care experience.
  • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care, ensuring clarity and understanding.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
  • Preferred experience of at least one year in a medical-surgical environment within an acute care setting.
