Role Overview

Axcex Media LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Low Voltage Service Technician to join our team in the Tidewater, VA area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing tasks in all stages of the project's life cycle, ensuring work performance meets and exceeds industry standards, and providing superior customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute tasks in all stages of the project's life cycle, ensuring quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Install copper and fiber cables, Firestop Systems, and related infrastructure.
  • Install communication equipment, medical equipment, and cable termination systems.
  • Properly survey, install, and document projects.
  • Manage and maintain company vehicles and tools.
  • Report daily and weekly progress to the company Project Manager and customer contacts.
  • Perform other assigned duties as requested by the immediate supervisor and/or management.
Requirements
  • Three (3) plus years of relevant work experience, with Fire Alarm installation experience preferred.
  • Must live in the Tidewater, VA area.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Travel outside of the Hub territory is mandatory, as required to meet client demand and deadlines.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no suspensions, etc. within the last 3 years).
  • Ability to share a hotel room while traveling.
  • Comfortable with heights and stable on a ladder.
  • Ability to carry 75 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a background check and routine drug tests.
