Hyundai Service Technician Position

The Mills Auto Group in Hampton, Virginia is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Hyundai Service Technician to join their team. As a key member of the service department, the successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and working collaboratively with colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Demonstrate safety and tidiness throughout the garage
- Handle customer concerns and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform regular vehicle maintenance, including oil and filter changes, lubrications, and tire rotations
- Inspect vehicles for safety-related issues
- Consult with other technicians to discuss and advise on the diagnostic and repair process
- Follow dealership policies and procedures
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a technician for a dealership or related auto industry organization
- ASE certification a plus
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team
- Positive and professional attitude
- Knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- High school diploma or GED
