Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Marketing Leadership:
- Design and execute comprehensive B2B marketing strategies to expand market presence, elevate brand recognition, and drive sales of PS Seasoning products within the meat sector.
- Formulate and implement marketing strategies for Pro Smoker offerings, including consumer and commercial meat smokers, dry aging units, and related accessories.
- Devise and execute thorough retail marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, market share, and sales growth across various platforms including the company website, Amazon, and Webstaurant.
- Identify significant market opportunities and develop actionable plans to leverage them, including product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal marketing initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor actions, and customer feedback to guide strategic marketing decisions.
- Establish a sales enablement marketing strategy and content plan in collaboration with the sales leadership to enhance customer experience and drive sales effectiveness.
- Lead digital marketing initiatives, including agency collaboration, paid media strategy, and search engine optimization.
- Manage email and print marketing campaigns to foster customer engagement and retention.
- Plan and execute promotional activities, social media content marketing, and ambassador programs.
- Coordinate paid sponsorships and chef collaborations to boost brand credibility and customer product knowledge.
- Organize and engage in trade exhibitions to showcase products, drive sales, and strengthen industry relationships.
- Utilize data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate consumer insights into product development and marketing strategies.
- Work closely with sales, product development, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives and product availability.
Brand Management:
- Oversee the positioning, messaging, and branding of the company's offerings to ensure consistency with corporate objectives.
- Maintain brand guidelines that reflect the company's ethos and resonate with target demographics.
- Direct the development and execution of brand positioning and messaging across relevant channels.
- Collaborate with the product development team to align marketing strategies with product offerings.
Budget Management:
- Develop and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and financial targets.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize performance and budget efficiency.
- Partner with the finance team to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of marketing expenditures and return on investment.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity within the meat industry or a closely related food sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the food industry, including market trends, consumer behavior, and regulatory considerations.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective B2B and D2C marketing strategies.
- Expertise in paid media strategy and execution, search engine marketing, and SEO.
- Proven experience in ecommerce.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing marketing budgets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and data analytics platforms; experience with Shopify management is a plus.
