Nurse - Employee Health Services

The Employee Health Nurse plays a critical role in ensuring the health and wellness of employees at Doctors Hospital of Laredo. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and providing employee health services to all employees, students, and volunteers as necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Provides education and support to staff on employee health and safety protocols.
- Performs pre-employment testing and administers drug screens as needed.
- Administers and maintains employee immunizations and TB tests.
- Assists in gathering data for infection control reports and monitors compliance with employee health program requirements.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee health records.
- Manages workman's compensation cases and collaborates with HR, Safety, and Security departments.
- Current Texas RN license required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Previous hospital experience required.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, CMS, and JCAHO preferred.
- Computer skills, including typing and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
