Key Responsibilities:

Help Desk Management:
  • Oversee and manage the help desk operations during standard business hours.
  • Assist personnel with IT-related onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Provide in-person support for users seeking IT assistance and manage the ticketing system effectively.
  • Ensure help desk availability is maintained at a high standard during operational hours.
End User Device (EUD) Management:
  • Handle the deployment of new and replacement EUDs, including setup and configuration.
  • Ensure compliance with Information Assurance standards for all devices.
  • Document compliance checks and device deployments accurately.
  • Assist with the setup of EUDs, excluding physical relocation of equipment.
EUD Retirement:
  • Provide support for the disposal of outdated IT equipment.
  • Conduct data wiping, labeling, and documentation for retired devices.
  • Manage the removal of associated accounts for decommissioned equipment.
Incident Tracking:
  • Record all activities in the designated IT ticketing system.
  • Update the status of open tickets regularly and close completed tasks.
  • Support workflow management for the help desk by reviewing and distributing IT tickets.
Knowledge Management:
  • Maintain and update the Knowledge Base and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accuracy.
Project Reporting:
  • Provide regular updates on ongoing projects and tasks.
  • Participate in weekly status meetings to discuss project progress.
Customer Support:
  • Deliver tier II technical support for users across various locations.
  • Resolve technical issues for a diverse user base.
  • Offer training and support on basic computer operations and software applications.
Video Teleconferencing Support:
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for video conferencing systems.
  • Coordinate with IT leads for issues requiring advanced support.
Cybersecurity Assistance:
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives and compliance assessments.
Team Coordination:
  • Manage daily operations of contractor staff.
  • Notify management of any personnel changes affecting service delivery.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all requirements are met.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience:
  • At least five years of relevant experience in IT support.
Certification:
  • Must hold an Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level I certification or higher.
