Surgical Technician

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the Surgical Technician will assist the surgical team in the operating room by preparing and maintaining a safe and efficient environment for surgical procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surgical procedures and be able to anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
This is a full-time position that requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, including setting up and cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Assist the surgical team with patient preparation and positioning.
- Anticipate and meet the needs of the surgical team, including providing instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a safe and efficient environment, including adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a surgical technology program or equivalent experience.
- Certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists (CST) highly desirable.
- One to two years of experience as a surgical technician preferred.
