Job Overview
Compensation:
$24.42/hour as determined by the collective bargaining agreement.
As a Ticket Sales Operator, you will provide friendly, efficient customer service to patrons seeking ticket sales and performance information.

Operators should possess the ability to multi-task, navigate various software applications, deliver quick service, exhibit patience when interacting with the public, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.

We seek candidates who thrive in a collaborative environment yet can work independently.
Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include handling phone transactions for customer sales; providing and distributing general information regarding all events at the Kennedy Center; managing a high volume of inbound calls efficiently; identifying new sales opportunities and upselling through inbound interactions; assisting patrons with accessible ticket requests and discount programs.

Operators must communicate effectively and efficiently with customers and colleagues while maintaining a patient and helpful demeanor at all times.

Maintain and update patron data records in the CRM system (Tessitura); assist patrons with account inquiries as necessary.

Respond to the needs and requests of Kennedy Center management and staff in a professional and timely manner; adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.

Other duties may be assigned.

- Familiarity with customer service principles and practices
- Strong phone handling skills and active listening

- Capacity to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

- Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the DMV area.
