We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our team at Mutual of Omaha. As a Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our Sales team by providing key information for client proposals. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with new and existing Workplace Solution customers, helping to provide the clarity, support, and guidance that Mutual of Omaha is known for.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Support: Provide proactive management of quote activities, develop relationships with broker partners, and contribute to achieving ambitious sales goals.
- Proposal Excellence: Take charge of the proposal process, receiving and managing RFPs, preparing compelling proposals, and ensuring timely responses.
- Underwriting Expertise: Dive into life and long-term disability cases, from underwriting to quoting premium rates, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness.
- Smooth Implementation: Coordinate the installation process, partnering with various stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions, and ensuring accuracy in paperwork and client satisfaction.
- Industry Insight: Stay ahead of the curve, keeping abreast of industry trends, product knowledge, and ensuring compliance with State Insurance Department regulations.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Excel, Word, and various software systems, with typing, spelling, and grammar skills that are second nature.
- Learn and Grow: Be ready to embark on a journey of learning and growth, understanding the nuances of the proposal process, diving into the insurance industry, and being a self-starter.
- Exceptional Communication: Possess the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, fostering positive interactions and building lasting client relations.
- You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
- Ability to work at our home office located in Addison, TX.
