Position Summary:
Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations Consultant

The Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is in search of a Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations Consultant.

This role is pivotal in leveraging business acumen and human resources expertise to deliver comprehensive HR support and strategic guidance.

The Consultant will manage employee relations, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims.

Engage, mentor, and support management teams with labor relations and HR best practices while fostering a constructive and professional rapport with all stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between management and staff by addressing inquiries and facilitating the resolution of workplace challenges.

Provide both current and prospective employees with insights regarding organizational policies, job responsibilities, work environment, and compensation.

Assist the HR department in executing initiatives aimed at enhancing employee relations.

Design or oversee specialized HR projects.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, timelines, and established procedures, rectifying any discrepancies or issues.

Guide employees in navigating complex issues and resolving escalated grievances.

Research, compile, and prepare necessary reports, correspondence, and information for management or regulatory bodies, including unemployment documentation.

Maintain an HR information system that fulfills the informational needs of top management.

Keep accurate personnel records, including hiring, promotions, transfers, performance evaluations, terminations, and employee metrics.

Respond to inquiries regarding strategies, measures, and HR programs.

Identify opportunities for policy and procedural enhancements.

Train and support HR team members.

Assist in evaluating departmental reports, decisions, and outcomes against established objectives.

Propose innovative approaches, policies, and procedures to continuously improve departmental efficiency and service delivery.

Manage unemployment claims, workers' compensation, and employee relations issues.

Oversee the processing of terminations and all requisite separation documentation.

Conduct various audits within HRIS and ATS.

Report on government-mandated statistics.


Physical requirements for this role include the ability to remain stationary, move freely within the office, and operate mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

This is a full-time position that necessitates in-person attendance during standard business hours.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and/or 3-5 years of experience in HR Generalist roles.

Familiarity with California labor laws and regulations is advantageous.
