Role Overview
The PBPSC team is responsible for cultivating regulatory knowledge and leveraging it to influence the selection and development of safe and compliant products. Our mission encompasses implementing safeguards to protect our customers and the environment throughout the product lifecycle, achieved through audits, investigations, and program evaluations.
We are seeking a Regulatory Intelligence Product Safety & Compliance Manager who will concentrate on safety, compliance policy, and strategy while guiding cross-functional business and development teams. The selected candidate will be tasked with creating compliance initiatives by establishing high-level processes and innovative scalable solutions, all while upholding rigorous standards for global compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute strategies for the Management of Change process to adapt to new and evolving regulations.
- Identify, assess, and communicate forthcoming global regulatory requirements, providing early warnings of potential changes.
- Develop compliance policy frameworks applicable to various private brand product categories and regions.
- Navigate and reconcile differing stakeholder perspectives to ensure conformity.
- Offer expert guidance to business and legal teams regarding the complexities of product safety and compliance.
About the Team
The Private Brands Product Safety and Compliance team is committed to safeguarding customers and Amazon brands through the development and management of safe and compliant products throughout their lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience in utilizing technology and implementing lean principles/Six Sigma methodologies to enhance processes.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation
Our compensation reflects the labor costs across various US geographic markets. The base salary for this position ranges from $109,000/year in the lowest geographic market to $185,000/year in the highest. Compensation is determined by several factors, including market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package that may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
