Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description

Second Avenue is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Tampa, FL. As a key member of our Central Operations office, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and code invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding and updating vendor information
  • Perform data entry functions, processing AP invoices and expense reports
  • Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a full-cycle AP department
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus
