Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Control Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-performance control algorithms for electric systems, including motor-generators, power inverters, and energy storage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Control Algorithms: Design, develop, and implement high-performance control algorithms for electric systems, including motor-generators, power inverters, and energy storage.
  • Simulation and Modeling: Create and maintain simulation and embeddable models for system performance evaluation.
  • Plant and Control Models: Derive plant and control models, validate through simulation and testing, and implement through auto-coding or hand coding.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and enhance motor control systems and power solutions.

Requirements:

  • Education: BS in EE, MS preferred, with at least 5 years of industry experience in electric motor control and modeling.
  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of motor control algorithms, power converters, and energy storage systems. Experience in control algorithm modeling, simulation, and implementation. Proficiency in embedded C programming, DSPs, and MCU platforms.
  • Soft Skills: Strong project management and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $300,000 annually, eligible for company shares. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment.
