Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Transport Pilot to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. As a Medical Transport Pilot, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to medical facilities while providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with a team of medical experts to transport patients to and from medical facilities
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and company requirements
  • Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
  • Provide shift change information to transitioning pilots and team members, following protocols for recording company change board details
  • Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing ground and air training
Requirements
  • Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land (C-AMEL) certification required; willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment
  • Valid and unexpired driver's license
  • Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
  • 2,500 total flight hours
  • 1,000 PIC hours
  • 500 cross-country hours
  • 500 multi-engine hours
  • 100 night hours
  • 75 instrument (50 actual) hours
Working Conditions
  • Required to work in outside weather conditions
  • May need to deice the plane, assist with towing the aircraft, and maneuver in and out of the hangar
Physical Demands
  • Required to stand, walk, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must be able to lift 70 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
