Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse - LVN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one care to our patients, helping them transition home from the hospital and ensuring they receive the continuous care they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Implementation of Physicians' Prescribed Plan of Care: You will work closely with our patients' physicians to implement their prescribed plan of care, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care possible.
- Patient Assessments and Coordination of Care: You will conduct thorough assessments of our patients' needs and coordinate their care with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Administration of Prescribed Medication, Treatments, and Therapies: You will administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies to our patients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Compliant, Timely Documentation of Care Provided: You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of our patients' care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing valuable insights for our team.
- Health Promotion, Teaching, and Training of Family Members: You will educate and empower our patients' family members to take an active role in their loved ones' care, promoting health and well-being.
- Responsible for Accepting and Writing Verbal Orders from Physicians: You will work closely with our patients' physicians to accept and write verbal orders, ensuring that our patients receive the care they need in a timely and efficient manner.
- Active, Unencumbered License (RN/LPN/LVN): You must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license in the state in which you will practice.
- Current CPR Certification: You must have current CPR certification from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS.
- TB Skin Test (Current within Last 12 Months): You must have a current TB skin test within the last 12 months.
- Six Months Prior Hands-on Nursing Experience Preferred: While not required, six months prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred.
- Reliable Transportation: You must have reliable transportation to ensure timely and efficient care delivery.
