Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Senior Project Architect with extensive experience in project execution to join our Healthcare Practice Group. This role is essential in ensuring the successful delivery of healthcare projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the project delivery process for mid-to-large scale domestic and international healthcare projects.
  • Collaborate with fellow professionals to ensure that design and documentation meet project standards.
  • Lead a team dedicated to architectural project delivery.
  • Engage in building and site design activities, including analysis, planning, and technical development.
  • Maintain and develop key client relationships while managing expectations.
  • Supervise the development of construction documents, ensuring quality control and providing support to drafting staff.
  • Guide the management and development of project specifications.
  • Coordinate with subconsultants throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Facilitate project scheduling and staffing requirements.
  • Participate in coordination and construction meetings, preparing necessary reports.
  • Oversee construction observation, respond to RFIs, and manage change bulletins.
  • Drive issue resolution and enhance project quality through effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development by building trust with clients.
  • Engage in discussions with local leaders regarding team dynamics, growth opportunities, and strategic pursuits.
  • Assist in developing and implementing technical delivery standards and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 5-8 years of experience in healthcare architecture, with a strong understanding of design and construction guidelines.
  • A minimum of 5 years of recent experience with healthcare projects.
  • Professional registration in the relevant state.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED accreditation.
