Position Summary:

We are in search of a Facilities Operations/Management Specialist to oversee facility management for a federal client. This role requires onsite presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage client facilities for our federal customer.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service as a fundamental aspect of the role.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and independence, with experience in property and facilities management across multiple sites and contractors.
  • Assist the Facility Infrastructure Manager (FIM) with tasks related to creating Statements of Work (SOWs) and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), as well as procurement and work order processes.
  • Collaborate with Corridor Managers/Specialists to collect detailed information regarding sites, equipment, repairs, etc., for reporting to senior management.
  • Utilize Facility Management expertise to clarify work order requests and monitor the performance of minor repairs and task orders.
  • Oversee Operational Contract performance in the absence of the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
  • Manage, track, and report on funding requirements and budget for initiatives or tasks under supervision.
  • Support the Project Management Office (PMO) by monitoring maintenance work, tracking completion, and assisting in the development of repair solutions for facilities.
  • Assist in the oversight and monitoring of environmental task completion, ensuring all permits, warranties, and equipment documentation are accurately recorded.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in these projects.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A proven track record of developing and maintaining professional relationships with high-level officials and technical experts.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, analytical setting.
  • The capability to obtain and maintain a CBP Suitability (DHS Customs & Border Protection Public Trust clearance).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience in Facilities Management.
  • Current or active CBP or DHS Public Trust suitability background investigation, or the ability to obtain and maintain such clearance.
  • Experience within the government sector.

Employment Details:

Clearance and Citizenship Requirements:

  • Must pass a minimum background investigation for U.S. Government Public Trust clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Onsite work required.
  • Some light travel may be necessary.
