Your Responsibilities:

  • Gain knowledge about various pests, prepare for licensing examinations, and engage in ongoing training to uphold certifications in pest management.
  • Establish professional relationships with clients to understand their specific challenges.
  • Conduct inspections at client locations to identify pest activity and implement a mix of mechanical, biological, and chemical strategies to manage pest concerns.
  • Oversee your own route and schedule to guarantee clients receive prompt and high-quality service.
  • Contribute to community health and safety by identifying and addressing pest-related issues.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Desire for knowledge and professional growth.
  • Competitive spirit in both individual and team settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of experience in physically demanding roles such as warehousing, logistics, or construction.
  • One or more years of experience in customer service, retail, food service, or hospitality.
  • Certifications in pest control, industrial safety, or related fields.

Detailed Job Description:

As a Commercial Pest Management Trainee, your primary role will be to manage a designated route, providing pest control and inspection services to commercial clients while adhering to established standards for quality and timeliness. You will cultivate positive professional relationships with clients to fully understand their unique challenges, offer informed guidance, and recommend effective solutions for a variety of pest management issues. You will report to the Branch Manager and collaborate with Operations Managers, Sales Representatives, and a team of technicians to enhance business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a dedicated route of commercial clients, delivering exceptional service in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Engage in training and certification programs, applying your knowledge to identify and control pest issues.
  • Collaborate with clients and technical specialists to address complex pest challenges.
  • Provide proactive guidance to customers, effectively communicating options and recommendations for managing pest problems.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and service requests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle in accordance with company and DOT standards.
  • Seek opportunities to expand accounts and branch sales by engaging with clients about additional services and logging leads for the sales team.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Adaptability to work effectively in various environments and conditions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify and rectify errors.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and scheduling applications.
