About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Engineer to join our team at Siemens Healthineers. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support and service to our customers in the healthcare industry.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise and interpersonal skills to build and sustain strong partnerships with customers
* Serve as the primary customer-facing technical representative, working closely with biomedical engineers and senior staff members in a hospital or clinical environment
* Own customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and optimum service delivery
* Collaborate with clinical and sales partners to manage and grow the install base
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues with ultrasound equipment, both remotely and on-site
* Manage installation, modification, and preventive maintenance calls to ensure customer equipment operates at a high standard
* Ensure all work and equipment adhere to state and federal regulatory requirements
* Submit documentation required to remain in compliance with serviceable repairs
* Maintain a clean driving record in compliance with company fleet vehicle policies
Your Expertise:
* Background in maintaining electronic equipment, either in or out of a healthcare environment
* Proficiency in MS Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
* Desire to work with the latest technology and learn about new software and hardware solutions
* Passion for delivering customer-centric solutions to customers
* Self-starter with the ability to independently manage time and schedule
* Willingness to travel and flexibility for day-to-day work and required company training
Requirements:
* BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience
* Knowledge of computers and networking
* Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment
* Strong customer service skills through clear verbal communication with customers
* Ability to be compliant with hospital credentialing requirements
* Excellent organizational, time management, written, and verbal communication skills
* Ability to travel >75% of the time
What We Offer:
* Competitive salary range of $85,000 - $100,000 U.S. dollars annually, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as location
* Annual incentive target of 10% of base pay
