Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support
    • Provide timely and high-quality administrative support to the Center Directors and Directors of Education
    • Manage scheduling changes, prepare materials for parent conferences, assessments, and other customer appointments
    • Assist with maintaining the professional appearance of the Center
  • Customer Service
    • Greet and assist students, parents, and potential customers according to Sylvan standards
    • Field inquiry calls from potential customers and current families
    • Support standards and procedures to ensure student safety and well-being
  • Operational Support
    • Assist teachers with preparation for instruction and gather materials as needed
    • Support the Center Directors with preparing materials for parent conferences, assessments, and other customer appointments

Requirements

  • Education
    • High school degree
  • Experience
    • A minimum of three years of customer service experience preferred
    • Experience using full suite of Microsoft Office applications and other standard business applications
  • Skills
    • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
    • Strong word processing, data entry, and other administrative skills
    • Proven ability to effectively use consultative sales skills when serving customers
