  • Leading a team of over 30 professionals to support the agency in crafting and executing an innovative, actionable, agile strategy for deploying IT infrastructure and cybersecurity services and solutions.
  • Guiding personnel across various disciplines, including offensive and defensive cybersecurity, DevOps engineering, A&A process guidance, and strategic communication.
  • Engaging with all program stakeholders, including engineers, developers, other vendors/contractors, security personnel, and executive sponsors.
  • Assisting in the management of subcontractor relationships and documentation, including invoice approvals, coordinating NDA and subcontract documentation, reviewing Monthly Status Reports, and budget monitoring.
  • Overseeing and producing client deliverables in support of cybersecurity services.
  • Updating and maintaining project management documentation, such as risk registers, budgets, and staffing plans.
  • Exhibiting creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effectively communicating in both written and verbal formats, addressing client needs, and contributing to the development of a business vision while managing implementation efforts.
  • Strategically managing project planning to enhance program growth.
  • Traveling to additional program sites as necessary (less than 20%).
  • Analyzing, planning, and establishing requirements and standards for scheduled projects.
  • Assigning and supervising the daily tasks of technical staff, ensuring progress towards set milestones.
  • Conducting regular technical team meetings to address project-related questions or challenges.
  • Defining clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for team members on specific projects or initiatives.
  • Researching and assessing hardware and software technology options, conducting cost/benefit analyses for significant purchases on behalf of the company.
  • Recruiting and training exceptional talent to fill positions within the program's scope.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in project management and/or leading technical teams.
  • Project Management Professional Certification(s).
  • Prior experience working with and leading teams of cybersecurity and platform engineers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the Assessment and Authorization process.
  • Familiarity with offensive and defensive cybersecurity, SIEMs, and cybersecurity software tools.
  • Ability to articulate FISMA, FedRAMP levels, and DoD Impact Levels.
  • Strong customer service, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing emerging talent in the broader IT industry.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and foster a teamwork mentality.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with experience guiding others in these areas.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability in decision-making and supervising departmental teams.
  • BA/BS degree in a technical or business field.
  • US Citizenship and eligibility for a Secret security clearance or higher level clearance.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and typical tools in a pipeline including SAST/DAST, dependency checkers, unit testing frameworks, and code quality checkers.
  • Deep understanding of cloud environments from major cloud service providers, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience working in a Big Four company environment is a plus.
