Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. As a Medical Assistant in our Ambulatory setting, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and other licensed providers in providing cost-effective, quality patient care.
  • Perform routine clerical and clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements
  • Equivalent of graduation from a recognized medical assisting program.
  • Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in an ambulatory care environment.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
